blog :: thoughtcrime ink
Greetings thoughtcrime ink visitors, and thanks for all of you who have purchased stuff. We hope you're enjoying your shirts! And if you were in Edmonton on April 7 and made it out to our launch party at Remedy, thanks again for making the event great!
We're going to be at the
Calgary Anarchist Bookfair, Friday to Sunday April 27-29 at the Old 'Y' Centre (223 12 Ave. SW). Please drop in to visit our table, but stick around of course for the whole awesome weekend full of workshops, speakers, and amazing reading material!
We made changes to the pricing of
shipping and handling so that any order of any quantity merch is now $6.50 CDN to the U.S. and Canada, and $13.50 CDN for an "international" (non-U.S.) order. This replaces the kind of clunky shipping calculator system we had in place that seemed to confuse everybody and/or not work. Thanks for all of you who were very kind and added the shipping charge later for the stuff you ordered!
For Edmonton residents, we have some of our shirts for sale at
APIRG as well (see previous post).
If you have an info-shop, co-operative, or other place that retails stuff and you would like vend our gear in your place, please also get in touch.
We've got some new site features that we'll be launching once the programmer (Rob) is out of school for the term. Among these will be a scrapbook for each shirt so you can see the designs in larger detail (and how they look on different sizes, shapes, genders and colours of people).
New designs will be rolled out this summer as well. If you'd like to contribute ideas or artwork, email us at
.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) for details.
Hope your next few weeks are GREAT! And see you at the Calgary Anarchist Bookfair!

They're selling our apparel. Yet another way APIRG is a great outfit. :)
We're trying out vending with the generous folks at APIRG (Alberta Public Interest Research Group) who are selling a limited selection of our shirts. If you're in Edmonton, visit them in the
HUB Mall and Residences at the University of Alberta, and marvel at the fact that, indeed, not only does APIRG live in a mall, but
so do the students.
APIRG, like PIRGs across Canada, funds student and activist community organizations, which has included the
Edmonton Anarchist Bookfair and
May Week Labour Arts Festival. It is easy to spend years of your life volunteering with these fun folk, and one of us at thoughtcrime ink has done just that! Visit them online at
http://www.apirg.org for more info.
