Note: whenever you adjust settings in your browser to allow in certain kinds of content, you assume all risk of consequences of browsing. While thoughtcrime ink makes every consideration possible to the best of our abilities to stop anything bad from happening on our own site, we cannot control what happens on other sites as a result of your settings.
Turn on Javascript If you are shopping with Javascript turned off, certain fields won't get through to the shopping cart.
In Firefox, turn on Javascript by going to Firefox > Preferences. Click the Content tab, and make sure that the Enable JavaScript box is checked on.
In Safari, turn on Javascript by going to Firefox > Preferences. Click the Security tab, and make sure that the Enable JavaScript box is checked on.
Show pop-up windows Although you can get used to the way our shopping cart works with pop-up window blocking turned on, it works more intuitively if our site is not blocked from opening the cart as a pop-up window. We promise never to throw unnecessary and annoying 'ad pop-ups' at you as you explore our site. If you have the ability to keep pop-up window blocking turned on for all sites, but to make exceptions for trusted sites, as Firefox does, that's the best of both worlds. In other browsers, like Safari, you only have the option of banning or allowing all pop-up windows.
To turn off pop-up blocking for us: In Firefox, go to Firefox > Preferences. Click the Content tab. Beside the checkbox labelled "Block pop-up windows", click the button marked "Exceptions..." Type our URL (thoughtcrimeink.com) in the "Address of Website" field, then click allow. Close the window and then close the main preferences window, then reload this webpage.
In Safari, go to Safari > Preferences. Click the Security tab. Un-check the checkbox labelled "Block pop-up windows". Close the preferences window, then reload this webpage.
Create an account Creating an account lets you choose a preferred size and gender cut for shirts so you don't have to fiddle with menu choices if you are shopping for yourself. It also lets you log in to track orders you've made through our site. Your data and online status are not displayed to other site visitors. Please read our privacy policy for questions about how your info is used and not used.
Use a non-Microsoft browser if possible Have you done your part to erode the Microsoft hegemony? When we roll out new features and areas of the site we tend to get them working better in alternate browsers like Firefox and Safari first, and then Explorer a few days later. It's just the way Explorer doesn't comply with certain design things. We do things for the other browsers first, because it saves the computer from being thrown out the window in a fit.
